Stay away from CarsDirect.com My Advice on a BMW 335i
Submitted by vishal on Thu, 11/29/2007 - 01:08. Bay Area | Furious | PhilosophyI finally purchased my 2008 335i Sedan!
First of all, I wanted to thank everyone on these forums and encourage everyone to read as much as you can and participate!
I am writing this email in hopes that other newbies out there can learn from my mistakes and I wanted to give something back to the forum, granted not everyone might agree with my point of view, but I'm just sharing what I went through.
So the quest for a new car began 4 weeks ago and I narrowed down my choice to a 335i Sedan out of a IS350 (didn't like the disconnect from the road and the small windows!) and the G35S (its a great car, but its in between, jack of all trades, master of none)

I gotta pretty big deliverable tomorrow..and of course...I finally get reviewed..the day before it's due...not incrementally....BUT THE DAY BEFORE..because..my manager..assumed i already knew how to do it... why? even though I voiced that I haven't done this type of work before? ahh yes..the life of consulting..and quick ramp-ups..where money..is a ratio of time verses delivering... which adversely affects..people's learning curves... soo since this is my first business process assignment..there's bound to be a few hiccups..but what makes it worse..is that i'm learning business processes..for a business that's still being defined/created! So I'm learning two huge chunks of processes...in parallel..which leads to so much frustration! and of course mixed with the idealogy of self-learning...
